What Must I Do To Be Saved 

If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you would go to Heaven?

If not, you will find these following truths helpful in understanding this important subject. 

 We Have All Sinned

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

God's Word reminds us that we have all sinned.  The word sin means to miss the mark, or come short of perfection, by disobeying God.  At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God.

 Sin Has a Penalty

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 

The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell.  This is the fate of every person who has not believed on Jesus Christ as Saviour. 

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment..." Matthew 25:46

 Jesus Paid the Penalty 

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God proved His love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sin.  Jesus died in your place and paid your penalty. 

 Believe on Jesus Today

 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9

To believe on Jesus Christ as Saviour means to have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven.  You can express your belief on Jesus through prayer. 

Pray Sincerely This Prayer

 "Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I deserve hell.  I believe you died on the cross, paid the penalty for my sin, and rose from the dead three days later.  I am placing my faith in you alone to forgive my sin and save me.  Thank you for for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen."
